“How many seconds should I heat milk using a microwave?” When one needs to prepare food using a microwave, it is always the first question to ask. From the user perspective, it may be an incorrect design - we care how hot (temperature) the food should be prepared, not the time. Therefore, we designed a device that allows users to control the microwave by setting the cooking temperature through Kinoma. We also explored the heat map inside the microwave and MEMS non-contact thermal sensor to help the user be more aware of how food is prepared in a microwave.
